Employee Training Report in Staff Files

Posted by Brandy on January 23, 2012

The Employee Training report in Staff Files HR software lists training records organized by category for an employee. It will group the training together by category. Examples of training categories could include medical, customer service, sales, or human resources.

Each category section has its own total for hours and cost. Some businesses need to track the number of required training hours an employee has completed. The Employee Training report gives them those totals at-a-glance. For example, if there are medical personnel that require a specific amount of training hours per year, this report will show you how many hours of medical training each employee has already completed year-to-date. Categories can be created and assigned to each training title in the Define menu.

To run the report, click on the Reports menu, chose Employee Reports and select Training. In the Employee List you can select one or more employees. The Sort and Filters options are used to organize or narrow down the list of employees. You’ll be able to choose a date range for the report, as well as whether you’d like to include both certifications and training.
