Learn How to Use the New Custom Statuses in Customer Appointment Manager Version 6.0

Posted by Brandy on December 1, 2010

We recently released version 6.0 of Customer Appointment Manager, our appointment scheduling software. One of the new features in version 6.0 is the ability to make your own custom statuses. Statuses allow you to indicate the standing of the appointment. In the past, you could choose from six basic statuses including scheduled, confirmed, cancelled, no-show, checked-in, and completed. Now, you can also create new statuses, such as first visit, pending, or left message.

It’s easy to assign a status to an appointment with this software, too. In the calendar view in Customer Appointment Manager, you can set a status by simply right-clicking on the appointment and choosing the status that is appropriate for that customer’s appointment. It’s just as easy to view the statuses. Each status can be assigned an icon, so you can see at-a-glance what is going on with that appointment.
