Writing a Business Plan Using Ultimate Business Planner

Posted by Brandy on February 25, 2011

After you’ve finished the financials, it’s time to actually write your business plan. A solid business plan should contain:

  • Your basic business concept
  • Your products and services and their competitive advantages
  • The markets you’ll pursue
  • The background of your management and key employees
  • Your strategy and the specific actions you plan for implementing it
  • Your financial needs

There are 10 sections of a business plan and each section has several subcategories. Simply go through each one to explain your new venture. Don’t worry if you don’t know what to write. In Ultimate Business Planner, each section has thorough explanations and sample text to help you figure it out. It’s simple to add graphs or reports from your financial projection directly into sections of your document using this business planning software. You can further customize it with your own company’s images and logos.

When you’re done writing the business plan, you can choose which sections you would like to include in your document. For example, there’s a section for both products and services in Ultimate Business Planner. However, if you only sell products and not services, you can choose not to include the Services section in your business plan. You can also easily select which financial reports you would like to include in the Appendix of your document.
