Atlas Business Solutions, Inc. (ABS) Named to Software Magazine's 2007 Software 500 List
Atlas Business Solutions, Inc. (ABS) announced its inclusion on the Software Magazine’s 2007 Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers for the fourth year in a row. ABS has appeared on the Software 500 list every year since 2004 and was ranked 484 on the list with software revenue of $2.7 million. The company first appeared on the Software 500 in 2004 with software revenue of $1.8 million.
“We are proud to be considered one of the top 500 software companies in the U.S. once again,” says Jon Forknell, vice president and general manager of Atlas Business Solutions. “2007 has been an exciting year for us. We’ve added some great new software titles and team members. Everything is set for us to have a tremendous 2007, and to continue our revenue growth for many years to come.”
So far in 2007, ABS has introduced two new HR software titles to its current line-up of business software. HR Document Maker helps employers easily and quickly write office policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and HR forms and checklists. It also includes ready-to-print IRS forms and U.S. Department of Labor regulation posters. Staff Files® Pro helps businesses keep track of important employee information, such as wages, training, benefits, performance reviews, etc., as well as prepares human resource documentation.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2006. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. as well as from public documents, and posted at www.softwaremag.com.
