Where is my credit card security code?
The credit card security code, also known as a credit card ID (CID) or credit card code, is a special security code feature on your American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit card. To find your credit card code: Discover, MasterCard and Visa cardholders, flip the card over and look in the signature box. There you'll see a 16-digit credit card number followed by a 3-digit code. That 3-digit code is your credit card code. American Express cardholders, look above and to the right of your 16-digit credit card number on the front of the card. You should see a 4-digit code. That is your credit card security code.
