Prior to using scheduling software they used a system of Excel spreadsheets and written appointment calendars to set up arrangements and move meeting times around. They would also manually input all customer information into QuickBooks.

Now they use Customer Appointment Manager Pro to manage the appointment calendars of their salesmen, service technicians and installers. They also use it to capture contact information for incoming customers who haven’t been scheduled yet, so they receive the proper follow up and can be added to the appointment calendar in a timely manner.

One of the key features they love is the on-screen appointment calendar, so they can visualize the schedule. They color code all of their services, so that they can see at-a-glance what the technicians will be doing throughout the day.

They also utilize the Google Calendar integration with Customer Appointment Pro and often sync schedules throughout the day, so their technicians who are out in the field can see changes to their schedules right away. It saves a lot of time, as well as saves them the hassle of making lots of phone calls to coordinate employee schedules.
