Appointment Scheduling Software Used by an Academic Skills Lab in North Carolina

Posted by Brandy on June 30, 2011

Jessica is the Academic Skills Lab Coordinator at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, North Carolina. Prior to purchasing Customer Appointment Manager they were utilizing an old-fashioned paper appointment book. They were managing appointments for approximately 230 clients using that paper-based method.

Prior to purchasing our appointment scheduling software their challenges included human error and accidental double-booking. They relied on signage on their bulletin board and telephone calls to tutors to let them know about their schedule. Now with Customer Appointment Manager they use email to communicate with tutors and clients. The amount of no-shows has been reduced dramatically because of the reminders emails sent to clients. Now when a tutor is out sick she emails their clients with a simple click of a button instead of calling everyone on the list individually.

Jessica recommends using Customer Appointment Manager because their business has become more efficient since they began using it. They are able to serve more students and the software was very easy to learn and use.
